Spring Festival Holiday
CHUNJIE, is Spring Festival, also known as the Lunar New Year. It is the most important traditional festival in China.
The Spring Festival originated in ancient times. Its customs are rich and varied. Before the festival, people clean their houses, prepare New Year's goods. People decorate their windows with red paper cuttings. And they put up Spring Festival couplets to pray for good fortune in the coming year.on New Year's Eve, families members gather together, share a New Year's Eve dinner, and stay up late to welcome the new year;
The core of the Spring Festival lies in family and harmony. No matter where they are, people strive to return home with their families and enjoy the family life. China uses the twelve zodiac animals to name the years, and this year is the Year of the Horse.
